We recommend enjoying your Igamochi with a perfectly complementary coffee or matcha, or our homemade mountain grape juice. Enjoy your Igamochi while savoring your own special moment.
A review of Igamochi's popular set menu!

The igamochi is topped with adorable yellow rice and is bite-sized for easy enjoyment. It's meant to be eaten straight from the bamboo leaf, allowing the fresh, green scent of the bamboo to gently waft up as you enjoy it.
The mochi has a light flavor that allows the bamboo's aroma to shine through. Inside is smooth, velvety, sweet red bean paste that creates a gentle mouthfeel and pairs perfectly with the soft, tender texture of the mochi. The rice topping adds a delightful crunch.
Enjoy original coffee and Igamochi♪ “Wagamama Set”

The "Wagamama Set" includes coffee served in an adorable cup and three Igamochi. During Obon, it also comes with a paper detailing the history of Igamochi.
The coffee's subtle acidity pairs perfectly with the Igamochi's gentle sweetness. You can also order iced coffee during hot weather. Enjoy the exquisite harmony of rich, sweet red bean paste and slightly bitter coffee.

It's about a four-minute drive from Zao Ropeway's Zao Sanroku Station. It's located down the mountain along the Zao Park Line.
Where else can I buy it? Is it online?

Sanbe's Igamochi are currently unavailable for purchase online or at other stores. They are not sold at Yamagata Station's Espal Yamagata or Gutto Yamagata Tourism & Products Hall, both of which carry many Yamagata souvenirs. To purchase them, you must visit the shop in person. Due to their short shelf life and the fact that they must be consumed the same day, ordering them online also seems difficult. If you're passing by, please stop in!
