MARUGAME UDON × DRAGON BALL Z Collaboration Campaign starts on March 3rd!
The “MARUGAME UDON DRAGON BALL Z Collaboration Campaign” with the anime “DRAGON BALL Z” will begin on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at MARUGAME UDON locations nationwide. During the campaign, the MARUGAME UDON logo will be replaced with a limited-edition MARU"K"AME UDON logo at all stores. This will be accompanied by the launch of three collaboration menu items, the distribution of collaboration udon stamps, and various other campaign activities. We got a special sneak peek this time and tried all three collaboration menu items ahead of time. We'll give you a detailed look at what makes this collaboration appealing.
DRAGON BALL Udonuts (chocolate flavor)

This limited-time menu item, the DRAGON BALL Udonut (Chocolate Flavor), brings Dragon Ball to Marugame Udonuts. Marugame Udon mixes carrot paste into the outer chocolate coating and the inside to create an orange color. From Tuesday, March 3rd, to Monday, March 16th, it will be served in a Shenron-themed cup. From Tuesday, March 17, to Monday, April 6, it will be served in a Son Goku–themed cup.
The star-shaped sugar toppings included add a playful touch when used to create Dragon Balls on your "Udonuts." The standard Marugame Udonuts come with five pieces, but this set includes seven to match the number of Dragon Balls. Use the star-shaped toppings to make all seven Dragon Balls.
The mellow sweetness of white chocolate permeates the dough, which boasts a pleasantly chewy texture. The white chocolate coating envelops and enhances the light, airy flavor of the dough. The crisp crunch of the star-shaped topping and the gentle sweetness of maple syrup blend together softly, creating a taste that allows you to fully savor the indulgent sweetness.

This "Spirit Bomb Rice Ball with a Soft-Boiled Egg Inside" reimagines the iconic Spirit Bomb energy ball—Son Goku's ultimate technique from Dragon Ball Z—as a rice ball. A soft-boiled egg sits at the center of a perfectly round rice ball that is coated in white and ground sesame seeds before being fried in tempura batter.
